JADC, 에어버스 성공사례를 아시아태평양에 적용하여, 항공기 제조업, 항공우주산업, 지역 경제/평화유지 기여

Establishment Date

: August 15, 2017

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) had approved the Korea Small and Medium Business Association (KSMBA) under Article 32-4 on May 27, 2015.

KSMBA had approved the 'Korea Aircraft Development Center(KADC)' on August 15, 2017.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy(MOTIE) had approved Korea Aerospace Professional Engineer's Association(KAPEA) by Publication No. 2014-127 in 2014.

KAPEA had approved the 'Korea Aircraft Development Corporation(KADC)' under Article 32-1 on February 24, 2020.

KADC will execute the following activities to achieve the KADC Mission

Research and studies necessary or appropriate for the development, production and sales of commercial aircraft;

Tests and experiments relating to the above research and studies;

Analyses of the results, of the above research, studies, tests and experiments;

Facilitation and promotion of the manufacture and sale of commercial aircraft resulting from or otherwise relating to the above research, studies and other activities;

Any activity incidental to each of the above activities; and

Any other activities necessary or appropriate to achieve the objects of KADC.

MISSION

: Contribute to economy and maintain peace through the development of Asia-Pacific aerospace industry.

The imbalance of demand and supply should be continuously improved : Asia-Pacific operate the 34% of world  
commercial fleet; Airbus supplies 44%, Boeing 56%, Asia-P. 0%.

Contribute to the aircraft manufacturing, aerospace, local economy and peace by practicing the success of JADC and Airbus.

AAI (Asia Aerospace Industries) -> AADS (Asia Aerospace & Defense Systems) -> AU (Asia Union) (RCEP)

VISION

: Cooperate with aircraft manufacturers, government in Asia-P. countries for international development of Commercial aircraft.

Form the consensus with the Korean government, experts and companies that want to enter the aviation industry.

Participate in the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership agreements (RCEP), the ASEAN-Korea Special Summit, and the Korea-China-Japan summit to form a consensus among nations.

Cooperate with Boeing, Airbus and COMAC etc. to secure the commercial aircraft development and manufacturing volume.

TARGET (Korea Aircraft Manufacturing)

: Korea's aircraft manufacturing annual sales will reached the $23 billion a year.

The Korean government and aircraft manufacturers invest $751 million in RSP's international joint development project, producing annual sales of $23 billion.

If Asia-Pacific countries cooperate, it will produce $175 billion of annual sales in 2038.

Asis-Pacific countries will play a central role in the world's aircraft manufacturing industry by taking 47% of the single aisle market in 2038 and entering wide-body markets after 2038.
